About Me
Born in the 1970s in Germany, I first discovered computers at the age of 12 — back when typing BASIC on early machines felt like unlocking hidden worlds. That early spark grew into a full career in software development.
Over the years, I worked with major players like Borland (in the heyday of Turbo Pascal and Delphi) and SAP, building deep expertise in enterprise systems and complex projects. After years in corporate environments, I transitioned to freelancing, where I’ve enjoyed the freedom to choose interesting challenges and dive into new technologies.
These days, my focus is on independent development and writing. This blog serves as my space to share thoughts on open source tools and projects, my own experiments (often in Next.js, modern web tech, and beyond), and current trends — especially the rapid evolution of AI and its real-world impact.
Whether it’s practical code walkthroughs, honest takes on industry shifts, or the occasional deep dive into emerging tech, you’ll find a mix of technical depth and no-nonsense perspective here.
And yes — I’m the one and only 🧙♀️ The White Witch™ ✨ — mother of mischievous code, grumpy rants, and occasional spells of inspiration.
